Over the past twenty-five years Andrew Veivers has established himself as a musician, teacher, director and composer of the highest calibre - touring, recording, composing, and arranging extensively for solo projects, his groups Flamenco Fire and The Saruzu Quartet as well as for great Australian artistic institutions such as The Sydney Theatre Company, Opera Queensland and the Woodford Folk Festival.

What's happening in 2024/25

 2024/25 is looking very busy… full of exciting and artistically challenging performances and projects. Not only is it festooned with a series of collaborations with brilliant musicians such as The Black Square Quartet, Kacey Patrick, Karl S. Williams, Angela Iimura and The Sunshine Coast Guitar Orchestra but there is the much appreciated opportunity to continue to build on relationships with fine artistic powerhouses such as Arts Queensland, Sunshine Coast and Ipswich Councils, events company Red Chair and the fine fellas at Yama-Nui Studio through tour presentations, recordings, public/community art projects, invitations to provide programming input for events and inclusion in awards ceremonies.   


A couple of exceptional standouts for 2024 are the SE Qld tour of Guitarra y Cuarteto - featuring my original guitar compositions accompanied by the amazing Black Square Quartet playing string arrangements by the uber talented Michael Patterson, the October Tour de España of The Sunshine Coast Guitar Orchestra, the launch of on-line teaching and the opening of The Spanish Guitar Studio teaching space in Sevilla, Spain. Phew…. Busy, busy…
